Entry Label Sponsorship Volunteer Donate Photo Galleries 2008 2007	ArtPeace Shakedown celebrates and showcases the visual art and performance talents of high school students in Monroe County, and promotes art organizations in the Rochester community. Shakedown has merged with ArtPeace, Inc., a Rochester-based non -profit organization that educates young people through the integration of arts and technology. The Shakedown aligns beautifully with ArtPeace’s mission to create social change through the arts. ArtPeace has been a part of community arts events (such as ArtWalk) for many years and this is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the amazing talents of the young people of the City of Rochester and Monroe County. ArtPeace Shakedown '09 will take place May 1-3, 2009 at Village Gate Square. All current high school students in Monroe County are eligible for this exhibition. Interested in participating? Teachers may submit one piece of artwork (2 or 3 dimensional) per student. In addition, performing artists will be selected to provide entertainment for the event.
